One of the main reasons I followed my passion to become a full-time professional photographer was to capture images that would in some way help and impact a positive social & environmental change. To help in some way to prevent some of the injustices and inhumane treatment suffered around the Globe today.
My dream is to connect like-minded people who want to make a positive difference to world climate and poverty and who are passionate about the planet. I hope to make a contribution with my photography.
Obviously, the world has been totally oversaturated with imagery for a long time now and to believe that a single shot can make an impact and “Change the World” is perhaps too simplistic and naive, however my “raison d’etre” is precisely that.
I love to travel and consider myself an environmentalist. I hope my portfolio also includes contemporary and often thought-provoking images from my travels in the nature stock library.
I'm doing more humanitarian work through my photography this year in a worldwide project that will be celebrating peoples’ similarities worldwide and helping bring about peace and change.
My business has been mainly focused on corporate events, Seminars, award ceremonies, charity fundraising events and profile and website images and I have been lucky enough to work with some inspiring entrepreneurs and people who have done so much for society. Through social media and my network, I’ve also been able to contribute and hope to continue!
I really loved taking portrait shots for an article in the Oldie for Erin Pizzey, founder of 1970’s refuge for battered people. She is a truly inspiring person and has become a good friend.
I am lucky that I have had the opportunity to shoot a whole range of different photography and love new challenges shooting event photos to help businesses to capture your personality, help sell your event, product & food. Creating corporate headshot photos, profile shots that give you a professional face to your business.
I have extensive experience photographing seminars, conferences and speakers as well as many other events, and enjoy working with social entrepreneurs and change-makers, such as Bob Geldof, Richard Branson and Jaimie Oliver as well as working over the past eight years with James Caan from Dragons Den and Kevin Green from Secret Millionaire Channel 4’s program – truly inspirational people; who are actively making a difference and I’m enjoying working with them.
I love to promote ethical photography and enjoy editorial and journalist work as well as supporting, promoting and shooting events, food and products.
Ideally would love to expand my existing business and work with even more inspiring entrepreneurs and people who also want to make a positive contribution as well as focusing on food and product photography in my photography studio.
I am also the official photographer for The Financial Times Events including FT Environmental Awards and the FT Sustainable Banking awards when I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Sir Bob Geldof – always outspoken, but a truly passionate speaker!
I am confident that I represent their events with passion and give them images that will help their cause to make a positive difference!
I have always loved photography. I started taking loads of pictures when I was about 9 years old (when my neighbour Brian gave me my first camera, a Zenith!)
I decided to follow my passion and become a professional photographer during my time with the ITF when I travelled to many parts of Europe and was asked to capture the tennis players in action in New Delhi at a Women's $50,000 event for their magazine. It was then that I realised I wanted to follow photography as my profession.
Since 1999 I have successfully built an impressive photography portfolio.
My client list includes not only large blue-chip companies such as M&S, Heinz, L'Oreal and Estée Lauder but also charitable organisations, such as WWF, Galapagos Trust, Mind and the Tibet Foundation. I also enjoy working with well-known musicians, Courtney Pine & Lionel Ritchie; and have photographed many events and venues (including the Grand Prix Ball and private events at Hampton Court Palace)
There are lots of examples of my work on the site and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to see more images.
I’ve been told that I combine state-of-the-art digital technology with a blend of imagination, originality and professionalism providing food photography of the highest contemporary quality, PR images, corporate events, venues & interiors as well as innovative musicians' portfolios & CD cover images.
I cover, Bristol, Bath, Cardiff and London as well as most of the UK and Worldwide and offer secure online proofing usually online the day after the shoot as well as a professional print ordering service with next day delivery through Loxley Printers and can deliver images the same day via We Transfer or Dropbox.
